What is the difference between Cloudflare Pages and Vercel?

Cloudflare Pages excels at static websites and edge computing with Workers. Vercel offers deeper Next.js integration and is ideal for dynamic web applications with SSR. We choose the platform on a project-specific basis - often using both in combination.

Does Cloudflare provide protection against attacks?

Yes, Cloudflare provides comprehensive DDoS protection, a web application firewall (WAF) and bot management even on the free tier. For our client projects, we additionally configure security headers, rate limiting and IP-based access rules.
